‘A Sea Wave’
A recent illustration of mine. It seems to me, that lots of people now are trying to churn out the next shock to the art system. Something new and disturbing. Thought-provoking and meaningful. A visual messy glimpse into an equally messed up life. And that’s all right, if you like that sort of thing, but sometimes, all I want to paint and draw are fairies and mermaids, wistful and cute characters that feed my inner child. And I doubt I'll ever stop, I think there ought to be beauty in life, mystery and dreams. I don’t really want to shock, just make smile.
